俄罗斯第一红人Vitas
虽是俄罗斯第一红人，虽然就住在莫斯科，在俄罗斯国内四处演出，离中国，他如此近，却又如此远。他在俄罗斯走红4年之后，中国歌迷才开始听到他的作品。据Vitas的歌迷介绍，Vitas最开始是在新疆走红：“当时还记得有网友说，他在新疆很红。后来有人从新疆带到这里了，还有新疆的网友也发过言，说音像店里都放他的歌。后来就有新疆网友把视频放到网上，不过具体的日期跟人都查不到了，大概是在2004年年初。这段视频就是《歌剧2》。过了几个月之后，到5月份，在互联网上突然就火起来了，然后到8月份，满互联网全是那个《歌剧2》。”
4个月以前，用百度搜索Vitas，还只有约85200个网页，现在则已经有了152000个中文网页。而他在中国的歌友会会员，也从最初的十几人发展到现在的超过2万注册会员，每天都有近千人次登录网站下载、试听他的作品。没有媒体宣传，市面上也没有他的盗版CD，要听Vitas唯一的途径就是上网下载。网上，不断有热心网友放出Vitas的MP3和视频。Vitas在中国的走红，完全是靠网络传播的。中国歌友会曾经做过调查，结论是一半的歌迷是在网上看到Vitas然后喜欢上，三分之一的人是经由朋友推荐发现的，而只有不到一成的人是通过媒体的报道得知Vitas。
